Vamps trailer with Alicia Silverstone will have you laughing through your fangs
Amy Heckerling and Alicia Silverstone team up years after 1995's still-popular Clueless to bring us Vamps, a comedy about modern New York City romances...and vampires. Krysten Ritter (who could have easily been in Clueless, had she been old enough then) joins the cast and emulates that 90s no-care-fun.
Goody and Stacy (Silverstone and Ritter, respectively) are two undead party girls in the city, tired of the clubs' pick of the men. Enter Joey (Dan Stevens), a fresh faced, warm-blooded cutie catching Stacy's eye (and fangs). Managing to look past his veins, Stacy wants to be a real girlfriend, including meeting the parents- eh, Dr. and Mrs. VanHelsing. Ensue chaos.
A campy '90s vibe and excellent cult classic stars (Sigourney Weaver, Wallace Shawn, Malcolm McDowell and more), Vamps will hit the sunlight November 2, 2012. Check out the trailer below.
