Tobey Maguire does more than lose his cool in The Details trailer
Infidelity, competition, organ donation, murder and comedy? 2011 festival favorite The Details finally reveals a full trailer after pent-up anticipation that lead to many fan-made parodies. Parodies, though not far off, did not even begin to cover it all.
The dark comedy follows the tightly wound married life of Jeff (Tobey Maguire) and how fast it unravels after a silly little raccoon breaks in to his home. Soon follows the other woman, and then another woman, a pregnancy worth killing for, and a husband who will stop the madness if provoked further. Each event more heightened and pressured than the next, the realms of reality don't seem to be a guideline here.
Supported by Laura Linney, Ray Liotta and Elizabeth Banks, The Details leaves an odd impression leading to small curiosity as to what can possibly happen next?
Theatrical release is slated for November 2, 2012, but for now, watch the full trailer below.
