The odd is relatively normal in second Silver Linings Playbook trailer
After receiving rave reviews and critical success at the Toronto International Film Festival, including nabbing the People's Choice Award, David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook receives a fresh cut trailer for a broader audience. Starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, the film focuses on an energetic connection between an unlikely pair.
The seemingly ever-angry Pat (Cooper) loses his life (wife, home, job) and after some time in a mental institution is forced to move back into his parents' home. Here he meets Tiffany (Lawrence) shrouded in mystery and despair. An off friendship clicks and the pair make a deal: Tiffany will help Pat reconnect with his wife, if he acts as Tiffany's dance partner in an upcoming competition.
Cooper and Lawrence seem to shine in a light unlike before, capturing critics' murmuring of best performances. Director Russell has proven numerous times how to create an engaging connection among the unusual and surely will not disappoint again in Silver Linings Playbook, also starring Robert DeNiro, Jacki Weaver and Chris Tucker. Watch the trailer below and be sure to catch the film in theaters November 21, ready for the upcoming awards circuit.
