Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy team up
After stealing every scene in Bridesmaids, Melissa McCarthy will reunite with director Paul Feig for an untitled buddy cop comedy as the dopey beat cop, opposite Sandra Bullock as the tough-as-nails FBI agent. Cliché? Absolutely. Enormous comic potential? You bet. Bullock has yet to star in a flat-out hilarious comedy, and McCarthy and Feig may be just the boost she needs to reveal her true colors.
Parks and Recreation writer Katie Dippold penned the screenplay, adding one more reason to keep this project on our radar. No release date has been set.
