Ominous trailer for Chan-wook Park's new thriller Stoker
From the striking mind of Oldboy director Chan-wook Park comes a trailer for his new thriller, Stoker. The film is a seductive horror starring an emotionally-disturbed Nicole Kidman, along with Mia Wasikowska and Matthew Goode.
The ominous film, surprisingly written by Prison Break's Wentworth Miller, revolves around a young girl named India (Wasikowska) after her father is involved in a fatal car wreck. Soon after his death, her mysterious and previously unheard of Uncle Charlie (Goode) moves into the estate she shares with her vindictive and erratic mother (played flawlessly by Kidman, from what we can tell). However, India begins to suspect that this dapper stranger has curious, perhaps even murderous underpinnings to his charming exterior, creating in her a disturbing infatuation for him.
Stoker is set for a March 1, 2013 release date. You can watch the trailer below.
