Meet Bond's new, more youthful Q
We can hear the James Bond "purists" now: "That's not my Q!" or "Q isn't supposed to be that guy from that weird Perfume movie!" But he is indeed that guy, and Ben Whishaw will likely deliver a spot-on performance as Daniel Craig's go-to gadgeteer in director Sam Mendes' upcoming entry in the Bond series, Skyfall. It's always refreshing when filmmakers aren't afraid to reinvent familiar characters in new and exciting ways. Although to be fair, they could have just pulled Morgan Freeman and his character of Lucius Fox from the Batman series and called it a day.
