Kylie Minogue sings melancholically in new Holy Motors clip
In continuation of promoting to a general audience, Leos Carax's Holy Motors released a new clip of a sorrowful, yet hopeful Kylie Minogue singing melancholically of the past. Though only a tease of half the song, Minogue successfully captures one essence of the film, sparking interest and deeper digging.
Holy Motors is the feverish dream and topsy-turvy journey of Monsieur Oscar, who reincarnates as a different character at different "appointments," transcending multiple genres, offering something to everyone. Monsieur Oscar struggles through the power of industry to lowly begging, kidnapping to murder, and even a time of love. An all encompassing success, Motors dances beautifully across the screen and demands theater viewing for a proper, and possibly tearful, effect.
Currently playing in New York, a nation-wide release looms on until November 9. For those to have yet seen the film (or even heard of it) keep on the lookout for a handful more clips to surface soon.
