Jean Dujardin sizzles in trailer for spy thriller Mobius
Jean Dujardin was the one bright spot of last year's The Artist with his matinee idol good looks, undeniable charm, and repartee with that adorable dog. In his new movie, Mobius, Dujardin shows a different side, as a sort of James Bond-Jason Bourne-Clive Owen-dashing-spy actor. Much more serious, however, than in his OSS series of films.
Mobius, a film by French director Eric Rochant, is a spy/crime thriller about an ex-KGB agent operating in London in money laundering on a grand scale. Some have touted it as to Dujardin what Inception was to DiCaprio, but from the teaser trailer, it's much more Bond-ian, or at least more like Clive Owen's The International. While the film is French and being released initially in France, the trailer is in English with French subtitles.
Dujardin will also appear in Scorsese's upcoming The Wolf of Wall Street and Clooney's The Monuments Men, which will surely skyrocket his Hollywood credibility.
