Whip out the trench coats and guyliner for The Damned’s 35th anniversary

One of Britain's first official punk bands, The Damned, are releasing the 35th anniversary edition of their debut album, Damned Damned Damned, on December 3.

The 4-disc reissue promises to be the definitive Damned record -- not only will the original album be re-pressed, but this edition will feature BBC session performances, rare demos and photos, and a documentary on the making of Damned Damned Damned with commentaries from the band and legendary performers of the time, including Chrissie Hynde and Sex Pistols' original bassist Glen Matlock.

The best part? The reissue will also include the band's iconic first live show supporting the Sex Pistols with The Clash, who were also making their live debut.

Damned Damned Damned is notable for the impact that it had on popular culture, an impact expressed in barely over 30 minutes. The Damned played a large part in the formation of punk cabaret and goth rock, and were the first British punk band to have a single, a record, and a US tour.
