Ty Segall goes goth, bares some flesh in freaky new video

Ty Segall somehow found a few spare minutes in between recording his next twelve albums to make a music video for his Twins rocker "Thank God For Sinners", one of those spectacularly trashy mid-tempo grinders that Segall can probably churn out in his sleep by now.

Directed by Matt Yoka, the video finds our favorite San Fran garage rocker in weird goth makeup, surrounded by lots and lots of bare flesh: backs, legs, hands, feet, you name it. If you're comfortable with the human body, it's a fascinating exploration of our natural contours and features. If you're like us -- i.e. not a weirdo -- it's super gross and uncomfortable. In any case, be sure to stick around until the end for an ultra-gruesome surprise straight out of a Takashi Miike film.

As previously reported, Segall's new band FUZZ has a 7" available now, and you can catch him melting faces at NYC's Webster Hall on February 1st. Until then, we're pretty sure we'll probably have another handful of Ty Segall stories to report.

As long as he doesn't rest, neither will we!
