Trent Reznor doesn't disappoint with new band's darkly ambient single
In April 2010, Nine Inch Nails frontman and super-producer Trent Reznor announced the formation of his new band How to Destroy Angels, featuring his wife Mariqueen Maandig, longtime NIN art director Rob Sheridan, and production wiz Atticus Ross. The self-titled EP was released in June 2010 and Reznor has just announced a second EP to be released later this year.
An Omen EP will officially be out in November, distributed through Columbia Records. Reznor has stated that a few songs on the EP will also be featured on the band's first full-length album which is slated to be completed sometime in 2013.
The first single from An Omen EP has been released for streaming. "Keep It Together" is painted with the trademark post-industrial, dark ambient alt rock that Reznor has perfected in his 30 year music career, and is complemented by Maandig's haunting vocals. Check it out below.
