The pressure's on for Arcade Fire's fourth album set for late 2013

Montreal-based indie band Arcade Fire is hard at work on their fourth studio album. Recently, drummer Jeremy Gara was interviewed by Ottawa radio station CKCU 931.1 (his former employer in the 90s), and stated that the band is currently working in the studio for the follow-up to 2010's universally lauded The Suburbs.

No easy act to follow, so to speak, for sure.

We are just working like we always have," Gara said. "We took a couple months off and we've been writing songs. Now we're in the studio pretty much full-time just doing what we do. [...] We're just working. We have no deadlines. It's kind of coming along."

Although there's no formal deadline to the release of the record, Gara stated that the album is tentatively scheduled for completion in late 2013.
