The Kills announce book of photos
Duo Jamie Hince and Alison Mossheart, better known as the post-blues outfit The Kills, are marking their 10th anniversary with a book of photography. The book, titled Dream and Drive is the product of the band's longtime collaboration with photographer Kenneth Cappello and promises an intimate look at the band's life, both on stage and behind the scenes. We're hoping for some revealing shots of the decrepit backrooms fledgling indie bands have to play as well as some candid portrayals of the requisite low-budget debauchery.
Although the book won't be released in the United States until September 4th, West Coast fans can sate their appetite with some August shows. After an extensive leg of European dates in June and July, the band is set to return to the states in August-- though these shows are limited to appearances at San Francisco's Outside Lands on August 10 through 12 and Los Angeles' Mayan Theater on August 13 and 14.
