The Black Lips release new live album packed with raucous rock
Self-proclaimed flower punk/garage rock outfit The Black Lips performed at Jack White's Third Man Records label in Nashville, TN in June of this year and the recording has finally been released. The Black Lips Live at Third Man was recorded live on analog and is now available digitally and on vinyl.
The album is made up of 13 songs from the band's extensive discography and includes a cover of the Lollipop Shoppe's "You Must Be A Witch." Black Lips join the list of Third Man's killer catalog of live shows at the label headquarters -- other bands and artists that have been Live at Third Man include The Dead Weather, Nobunny, Jenny & Johnny, Reggie Watts, Cold War Kids, Wanda Jackson, and White Denim, to name a few.
