Stop the gossip: Atoms for Peace are here and letting you stream their album
After lots of talk, conjecture, and kind-of-confirmations, Atoms for Peace is finally releasing their debut album on February 25, though it's available for streaming now.
The supergroup is made up of Radiohead's Thom Yorke, the Chili Peppers' Flea, Beck/R.E.M. drummer Joey Waronker, and Brazilian percussionist Mauro Refosco. The album is produced by longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and was recorded over three days as a kind of epic jam sesh.
The unique amalgamation of the talented musicians makes for one hell of an interesting album, especially with the inclusion of Yorke's electronic/laptop wizardry. Listen to the album below and/or stream it in its entirety on the band's website for a trippy visualization of the album made up of revolving screenshots of all the sites that post the stream.
