Out-cool your friends and be the first to listen to Brian Eno's Lux
Reknowned ambient musician and producer Brian Eno announced the November 13 release of his first solo album in six years earlier this month, titled Lux. Now all New York City-based residents have the chance to listen to his most ambitious project yet at a special listening event October 27. Eno based the album on artwork on the Great Gallery of the Palace in Italy, and sees it as a continuation of his earlier works Discreet Music and Neroli.
The location of the afternoon event, which opens its doors at 12:30pm and is set to begin at 1pm, will be announced at a later date to those attending, but for now it's described as somewhere near Columbus Circle and Lincoln Center — head over to Warp Records to RSVP.
Go do yourself the favor and submerge yourself in the moody drones of Eno, for absolutely free!
