Duran Duran to premiere concert film on Facebook
The Duran Duran renaissance continues with the release of their latest concert DVD, A Diamond of the Mind, via Eagle Rock Entertainment. Though the DVD will be available worldwide, the concert will premiere July 8 on Facebook. Featuring both an exclusive commentary track and a live Q&A session with the band following the screening, the digital premiere will cost $4.99.
A Diamond of the Mind was recorded December 16, 2011 at Manchester's MEN Arena, and features both material from last year's comeback All You Need Is Now and classics from throughout Duran Duran's three-decade-plus career.
After a European tour, Duran Duran are scheduled to play the opening ceremony concert for London's 2012 Summer Olympics on July 27. A 17-date North American tour will follow in August. Full tour dates and more information about the digital premiere are available at Duran Duran's Facebook page.
