Bob Dylan hits the road
Although Bob Dylan is no longer on his self-proclaimed Never Ending Tour, he's still hitting the road with some regularity. Over 50 years on from the release of his debut album, the rock icon begins his summer tour June 30 in Tonbridge, England; his European dates wind up a month later with an appearance at the Hop Farm Fest in rural Kent (not far from Tonbridge, actually) the weekend of July 29-30. A short North American tour begins August 10 in Lloydminster, Alberta, dipping into the northern United States after a string of dates in western Canada and wrapping up on September 1 near the upstate New York town of Elmira. All dates and ticket info is available at Dylan's website.
Dylan's as-yet-untitled 35th studio album, reportedly containing a 14-minute song about the sinking of the Titanic, is scheduled for release in September.
