Wild Nothing reveals lovely album cover
Wild Nothing have revealed the really pretty cover art to their second album, Nocturne, due out August 27 on Captured Tracks in the US and Bella Union in the rest of the world. Given bandleader Jack Tatum's musical fondness for the sounds of vintage 4AD Records, it makes sense that the sleeve strongly recalls Vaughan Oliver's signature artwork for the label; the album will come in six different versions, each featuring a different marbling effect.
The full-band lineup of Wild Nothing (which used to be strictly a one-man-band project for Tatum) will start a North American tour on September 3 in Santa Barbara, with CM favorites Diiv as their opening act. The tour will wind up 21 dates later on September 29 in Atlanta. Full tour dates are available on Songkick. In the meantime, check out Nocturne's gorgeous first single, "Shadow," below.
