Watch trailer for new Dirty Projectors film
Things are abuzz in camp Dirty Projectors these days. Their new album Swing Lo Magellan drops July 10 (via Domino) and they've just premiered the trailer for a band-curated short film entitled Hi Custodian.
The film features the band members playing parts in a story that deals with what they describe as "themes of spiritual death and rebirth." It also features alternate recordings of a number of new songs and takes its name from the Swing Lo Magellan track, "Unto Caesar." Executive produced by Pitchfork.tv, Hi Custodian is set to debut sometime this summer. We've got the trailer below.
