Viral Video of the Day: Child Celebrities Opposing Kirk Cameron
It's always nice when hatemongers get what's coming to them, and even better when what's coming to them is hilarious. Enter Funny Or Die with a response to child star turned anti-gay irritant Kirk Cameron's latest invective: CCOKC (Child Celebrities Opposing Kirk Cameron).
Cameron's fellow '80s child actors Maureen Flannigan (Out of This World), Keith Coogan (Adventures In Babysitting), Kenn Michael (The Parent 'Hood), Brice Beckham (Mr. Belvedere), Christine Lakin (Step By Step), Jeremy Licht (The Hogan Family) and Josie Davis (Charles In Charge) have plenty of well-deserved fun at Cameron's sanctimonious expense. (Note that raunchy acronym, for example; the video is probably NSFW due to language, by the way.) But there's a serious and common sense anti-hate message that resonates underneath the humor. Co-writer Beckham and writer/director David Fickas have done a fine job here.
Nice tongue-in-cheek poke at legendary nice guy Neil Patrick Harris, too.
