Video of the Day: Tune-Yards
Tune-Yards mastermind Merrill Garbus has a special knack for being both edgy and eclectic and aw shucks-adorable at the same time. On her new video for “My Country,” she’s at it again, with a concept that’s akin to what we saw back in 2011 in her “Bizness” video. The gang of grade-schoolers (many repping the San Francisco Rock Project) returns as well, only this time Garbus has transitioned from the classroom to some sort of after-school art-punk drama club.
