Video of the Day: Purity Ring
Though ghostly electronic duo Purity Ring's track "Belispeak" hit the web last summer, the band just released the song as a 12" single on 4AD earlier this week. The single's B-side will feature a cappella and instrumental takes on "Belispeak."
Now, there's also an eerily supernatural new video to accompany the song, which employs an array of strobe effects and fog machines to suitably underscore Purity Ring's smoky, beat-driven goth fairytale.
Both "Belispeak" and the recently unveiled "Obedear" will be featured on Purity Ring's forthcoming, full-length debut, Shrines, due out July 24.
