Video of the Day: Best Coast live
As just about everyone (including Critical Mob's own social media editor Anna Graizbord) descends on Austin for SXSW, many bands are playing other shows along the way. Which is why Best Coast was in the central Texas college town of Denton Saturday night, headlining the second stage at the pre-SXSW music festival 35 Denton. There, Bethany Cosentino and company debuted a great new song from their forthcoming album, "Why I Cry."
Said album, The Only Place, is due May 15 on Mexican Summer Records. Power pop legend Jon Brion produced, and many of us here at CM headquarters can't wait for it.
