Trailer of the Week: Steve Carell needs a friend

With Steve Carell's relatively recent departure from The Office, we're glad to see he'll have a film presence this year with a starring role in the romantic comedy Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. The movie has a Little Miss Sunshine-meets-Armageddon plot and features a surprisingly varied array of supporting actors, including Connie Britton, Patton Oswalt, William Petersen, and Gillian Jacobs, as well as Carell's real-life wife, Nancy Walls. Co-star Keira Knightley is a somewhat odd choice for a romantic counterpart, though the trailer shows potential. Maybe it'll be like Melancholia, but, you know, funny.
