Track of the Day: Los Campesinos!

It's been all quiet on the UK front, since we last heard from Welsh group, Los Campesinos!. But they recently put out a previously unreleased and alliteration-heavy track titled, "Tiptoe through the True Bits".

While albums are still the status quo for releasing music, we're lucky to live in an age where singles and unreleased material can quickly find audiences of their own, even when not couched within the overall sound of an album.  The new track or (TTTTB for short), didn't fit on their last album, Hello Sadness. Despite its thematic tones of love lost, it never reaches the darker depths that their last album occupied. The song laments on the harsh realization that some previous relationship baggage can never be packed away.

Gareth Paisey wears his lyrics on his sleeve proudly. After all, he counts fellow diarist-style lyricst, Paul Heaton of The Beautiful South, as his impetus for songwriting. "Tiptoe Through The True Bits" is now available to download, and catch Los Campesinos! on tour this summer.
