The Kopecky Family Band debuts theatrical charm
If the Kopecky Family Band sounds like a fun crowd to you, they’ve got you right where they want you. The six-piece group is not, in fact, a real family, but they insist they are all about family fun.
After two EP’s and performances at some of the country’s biggest festivals, the Kopeckies have officially landed with their debut full-length album Kids Raising Kids. The record is well equipped to get a crowd going at a live show – horns, claps, whistles, and the occasional “hey!” bare the band’s charming exuberance. What’s more, the album’s slow jams reveal the talent beneath the theatrics.
The Kopecky Family Band will perform throughout the Midwest in the coming weeks and has just announced a tour for 2013.
