The Hundred in the Hands preview new album
Brooklyn dream pop duo The Hundred in the Hands are about to release their second album: Red Night will be out June 12 via Warp Records. As a teaser, singer-keyboardist Eleanore Everdell and guitarist Jason Friedman have put out a hazy, atmospheric video for Andy Stott's remix of first single "Keep It Low." A disorienting blend of Everdell's haunting vocals and nearly subsonic bass rumbles with a hypnotic percussion hook, it's one of those rare remixes that might actually be an improvement on the original track.
The Hundred in the Hands are leaving for a European tour later this week, opening in Moscow on May 18 and ending 17 dates later in Basel, Switzerland, on June 9. Six North American dates will follow, after which the duo jet back to Europe to play the German festival circuit through July and August. Full tour dates are available on the band's website.
