Teengirl Fantasy preview new single
Electronic duo Teengirl Fantasy are releasing a new single next month vis the UK label R&S Records (James Blake, etc.), and have previewed the a-side via Soundcloud. The seven-minute instrumental "Motif" follows a nagging synth-bass hook through a variety of sounds and moods, including a particularly nice section featuring an unexpectedly smooth-jazz-influenced piano solo. Nick Weiss and Logan Takahashi will be releasing their second album on the Matador subsidiary True Panther Sounds later in 2012, but "Motif" is not scheduled to be on it, so grab the single when you can.
