Pitchfork Music Festival announces schedule
The Pitchfork Music Festival announced its full schedule this morning. The festival will take place in Chicago's Union Park, the weekend of July 13-15. Three stages will hold a total of 47 acts.
Friday's show is headlined by Feist, with support from Purity Ring, Dirty Projectors, A$AP Rocky, Tim Hecker, The Olivia Tremor Control, formerly-homeless R&B shouter Willis Earl Beal and CM faves Lower Dens.
On Saturday, Montreal electro heroine Grimes takes pride of place, with earlier sets including the reunited Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Hot Chip, Wild Flag, Nicolas Jaar, Cults, Atlas Sound, Lotus Plaza, and Cloud Nothings.
Sunday night closes with the return of Vampire Weekend, with earlier sets by an interesting mixture of chill electronic acts and some of the rawest rock and roll of the festival: The Field, Beach House, King Krule, Oneohtrix Point Never, Chavez, Real Estate, The Men, Ty Segall, and A Lull.
Three-day passes are long since sold out, but single day passes for each day are still available at the festival website.
