Nite Jewel previews second album, announces tour dates
Nite Jewel (aka Los Angeles singer-songwriter Ramona Gonzalez) has released the single "One Second of Love," a preview of her upcoming album of the same title, out March 6 on Secretly Canadian Records.
If this bright'n'shiny single is any indication, Nite Jewel's second LP will be downplaying the lo-fi aspects of her earlier work in favor of the unapologetic love of vintage '80s dance pop. ind out for yourself when Gonzalez goes on tour this spring. After appearing at SxSW March 14-17, Nite Jewel begin an extensive cross-country trek on March 26 at Boston's Brighton Music Hall. The tour will wind up at New York's Bowery Ballroom on April 24.
Brooklyn electro duo Chairlift, whose own second album Something is out on Columbia Records on January 24, will be sharing the bill with Nite Jewel on these dates.
