Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will rock your beard off this February
Nick Cave and his merry band of marauders, the Bad Seeds, have announced the imminent arrival of their fifteenth (yes, fifteenth) studio album, Push the Sky Away, to the joy of Brecht-Weill fetishists and facial hair aficionados everywhere.
Cave and crew took a long enough break from morally corrupting Shia LaBeouf to record the new album at La Fabrique, a studio in the South of France that's also a 19th Century mansion, because they're the Bad Seeds and of course they did. The nine songs contained therein, no doubt products of months of harlot's blood and mustache sweat, reportedly show a warmer side of the group's sound -- good news for all you Boatman's Call fans out there -- and feature such decidedly Caveian titles as "Water's Edge," "Wide Lovely Eyes," and "Higgs Boson Blues."
Push the Sky Away will be out February 19th, in the meantime, get your Cave fix by checking out the album trailer below. It's got lots of great studio footage, but not nearly as much drinking and pillaging footage as one would expect.
