Neil Young reveals details of new Crazy Horse LP

The first of two planned Neil Young and Crazy Horse albums has a title, track listing and release date. Due June 5 on Reprise Records, Americana is an all-covers set that ranges from childhood campfire faves like "Oh Susannah" and "Clementine," staples of the collegiate folk revival of the 1950s such as "Tom Dooley" and "The Wayfaring Stranger," and oddball choices like Judy Henske's "High Flyin' Bird" (later covered by Jefferson Airplane) and the Sex Pistols' "God Save The Queen."

Young's first recordings with the full lineup of Crazy Horse in over 15 years, Americana is due to be followed by an album of originals later this year. But as ever with the mercurial Young, your guess is as good as ours whether that will happen.
