Mum releasing compilation of early tracks

Icelandic electronic icons Múm are clearing the cupboards with Early Birds, a compilation of rare and unreleased tracks recorded between 1998 and 2000. The 15-track set will be out July 17 on Morr Music. Recorded mostly when the group consisted of the duo of Gunnar Örn Tynes and Örvar Þóreyjarson Smárason, these largely instrumental tracks have mostly remained unreleased, although a few eventually slipped out on various limited-edition releases.
