Mobile photography exhibit opens in San Francisco

As photography moves from dark rooms to cell phones any user can become a mobile photographer, or a MoPho.

With the tap of a finger, and the selection of a filter, almost anyone can capture something beautiful. Mobile photographer Daniel Berman took action to this realization and founded the Mobile Photo Awards, a contest that brought in 2,200 submissions from 114 countries.  The 25 winning photos along with jury selections and honorable mentions are now apart of a traveling exhibition that has premiered at the ArtHaus in San Fransisco.

The photos primarily fall into one of the following categories: landscapes, self-portraits, and street photography. The exhibition began on April 5th and will continue until June 30th. The photographs can also be seen here.
