MEN to release EP, nominated for GLAAD award

Almost one year after the release of debut album Talk About Body, JD Samson's electro-based band/performance art collective MEN have recently announced they'll unveil a three-track long EP in February. This comes just on the heels of receiving a GLAAD Media Awards nomination for Outstanding Musical Artist. No doubt an exciting development considering this month's earlier announcement that they'll be self-releasing albums and managing the band themselves from now on in an effort to stay true to their DIY sensibilities. You can join their grassroots promotional street team here.

Although they haven't announced any plans to tour the U.S., they'll be doing some overseas shows in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Don't fret if you can't fly 11 hours, though, as MEN has been playing smaller shows in New York, and Samson makes frequent DJ appearances at Brooklyn's Veronica's People's Club.
