Melody's Echo Chamber tours North America
French singer-songwriter Melody Prochet will bring her sweetly psychedelic project Melody's Echo Chamber stateside this September. Prochet will open for the Raveonettes during a string of North American dates, beginning September 21 in Portland. Check out the complete list of shows here.
The tour will come on the heels of the release of Melody's Echo Chamber's first LP, a self-titled effort due out September 11 on Fat Possum. In case you missed the album's first single, "Crystalized," you can check it out below. Prochet claims Spiritualized and Robert Wyatt amongst her influences, but the propulsive sparkle of "Crystalized," which was mixed with the help of Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, also favorably brings to mind Stereolab and Broadcast.
