Lykke Li releases new track for Swedish compilation
With so many special releases for this past year's Record Store Day, we don't know how we missed the vinyl release of INGRID Volym 1, featuring a new track from Swedish singer, Lykke Li.
The track was featured on a compilation with other Swedish artists put out by the Swedish label of the same name. Lykke Li, Peter Bjorn and John, Miike Snow, Teddybears, and other artists formed the label, and the compilation features songs from all them.
"Come Near", is slightly more aggressive then some of her past slightly pop-ier fare. With a swirling atmospheric intro, tribal drums and ominous instrumentals, it sounds like it could easily score any slasher film; albeit a slightly more highbrow one.
