Liam Gallagher muses he'll take us to another world with Beady Eye followup

According to Liam Gallagher, the new Beady Eye album is exactly what Oasis should have come out with after their epic (What's the Story) Morning Glory?

The former Oasis frontman did what he does best (blasting his opinions) and told NME that the Oasis evolution was too formulaic. He also, surprisingly, stated that he loves Be Here Now, the band's followup to Morning Glory? that is (in)famous for its backstory and bad reviews.

"I'm not saying it's better than Be Here Now or it's going to be this or that - I love Be Here Now, I won't have a bad word said about it, but when you're selling 20 million records, you've got people there going, 'Oh let's just chuck out that formula again.' So I'm a bit disappointed we didn't ever do it," Gallagher said. "But this fucking record [Beady Eye's upcoming album]: we've booted the door off the hinges and steamed right in there, into this other world."

As for the Beady Eye debut, Different Gear, Still Speeding, Gallagher (of course) has an opinion on that as well. "Maybe it was too quick after Oasis. But you can blame it on this, you can blame it on that... at the end of the day people just didn't fucking buy it, they didn't get it, it didn't connect, so back to the drawing board."
