John Baldessari's life in six minutes, narrated by Tom Waits

80-year old "Godfather of Conceptual Art" John Baldessari was the subject of six-minute bio headed by filmmakers Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. The creative team picked the dulcet tones of Tom Waits to narrate the piece; Waits once lived in the small town of National City, California, where Baldessari was born in 1931.

An artist the stature of Baldessari (pun intended) hardly needs an introcution, though the clip serves as a fine introduction to his career. And well, anything narrated by Waits is going to sound cool.
