Jacaszek’s dreamy new video

Polish downtempo-electro music artist Jacaszek has teamed up with Portuguese filmmaker Pedro Maia, to create a video for the song "Dare Gale" off of his latest album, Glimmer. Maia has collaborated with experimental musician and founding member of Animal Collective, Panda Bear in the past, so it's no wonder he's paired up with Jacaszek, with his dreamy and lush ambient soundscapes.

Though the video has a hazy appearance, it's pretty stripped-down and simple, using old school light and superimposition effects on some exquisite-looking clay and tin Mediterranean-looking tiles. It's almost reminiscent of early Beatles music video techniques and subsequent imagery from their Sergeant Pepper era, but even simpler.  After viewing, you'll either want to re-tile your entire kitchen, or book a vacation to somewhere along the Riviera.
