Francis Harris premieres remix in advance of new album

One of the most anticipated electronic releases of early 2012 is Francis Harris' elegiac Leland, due out on his own Scissor & Thread label on February 28. Harris, who normally records and remixes under the name Adultnapper, chose to release this haunting album under his own name in tribute to his late father Leland Harris, who died on February 25, 2010.

In advance of the album release, Harris has premiered a remix of the single "Lostfound" by his Scissor & Thread cohort Black Light Smoke. Stripping the song down to its foundations and putting guest singer Gry's spectral voice front and center, it's a more direct and less atmospheric version of the song that emphasizes its melodic strengths.
