Noted wearer of crazy clothes Björk stopped by The Colbert Report last night to perform "Cosmogony", off her latest album Biophilia, released as a series of interactive apps. In addition to showing off the pretty awesome-looking apps, Stephen Colbert discussed the scope of Björk's art ("Why art?") as well as the Icelandic belief in the existence of elves. Björk took it all on the chin, seeming to have a good sense of humor about herself and her homeland, even poking fun with Colbert at the very American preoccupation with ghosts. Being some sort of elf-ghost hybrid herself probably came in handy for sure in fielding those questions.
