Ben Browning releases solo EP
Ben Browning, bassist of Australian indie-electronic quartet Cut Copy, has stepped out with his first solo EP, Lover Motion. Co-produced and remixed by Gus Franklin and Haima Marriott of Architecture In Helsinki, the five-track EP has a distinct tinge of the sophisticated side of vintage '80s synth pop. Think China Crisis or Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, not Depeche Mode. The entire EP is available for streaming, with vinyl and CD copies out now through Cut Copy's own label, Cutters Records.
