Are you ready for the summer? Delta Spirit tour annnounced
San Diego rockers Delta Spirit have just announced plans for a cross-country tour starting March 19th to promote their highly anticipated upcoming self-titled album slated for March 13th. We know we've been eager for more Delta Spirit since they'd just ended their run with another Critical Mob favorite, My Morning Jacket. Plus, we've heard that the new album reflects a new grittier, rootsy sound for them.
With this tour starting in March, they'll be joined by Van Pierszalowski's (of the now-defunct Bay Area band Port O'Brien) new project WATERS, on all dates. Very fitting, being a very California-centric tour, that Delta Spirit's first single off of the forthcoming album is called "California". The teaser video for this single is pretty funny too- by the time old man winter retires for the year, we'll be feeling a lot like, well, Grandpa Ashcraft from the video, welcoming the fresh, new sounds of Delta Spirit.
