Animal Collective announce new album

Animal Collective released a typically oblique teaser for their upcoming album Centipede Hz this morning. The 90-second video, available at the band's website, consists entirely of decaying early '80s-vintage computer graphics, over which a computer-modulated voice reads the names of the album's 11 songs. These include "Moonjock," "Today's Supernatural," "New Town Burnout" and "Monkey Riches."

Centipede Hz will be out on Domino Records on September 4.
