Ai Weiwei's uncensored and not-so-subtle documentary poster unveiled
Chinese political dissident and artist Ai Weiwei is the subject of a new critically acclaimed documentary, Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry, and the uncensored poster of the movie is now out for all to see. Filmmaker Alison Klayman's portrait of Ai captures the controversial, internationally renowned artist in the middle of his numerous run-ins with the Chinese government over censorship and his political views.
The uncensored poster image, which you can see here, isn't coy about the intended message. Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry, which won a special prize at this year's Sundance Film Festival, will hit theaters and be available On Demand later this month.
