66th annual Tony nominations announced

Announced today are nominees for this year's Tony Awards, given primarily for Broadway productions. There aren't a ton of surprises in the main categories. The Best Play nominees include Bruce Norris's Clybourne Park, already a Pulitzer winner, and David Ives' wicked two-hander Venus in Fur, Best Musical includes the off-Broadway transfer Once and Leap of Faith (okay, there are some surprises), and Philip Seymour Hoffman gets a Best Actor nod for the Death of a Salesman revival. The awards ceremony will be held on Sunday June 10, broadcast from the Beacon Theatre.
