Nintendo goes Broadway with Andrew Lloyd Webber, the video game

When Guitar Hero was first released, it became apparent that music and video games were meant for one another. Since then, about a million interactive, musical-themed games have been released -- yes, that's a rough estimate. It was only a matter of time that a video game would target those who love to sing and dance around their living room (and embarrassingly often, in public) the most: theater nerds. Now with the soon-to-be-released Andrew Lloyd Webber game, that time has officially come.

Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals: Sing & Dance will be available for purchase on September 9th and will feature 32 songs from the legendary composer including those from Cats and Phantom of the Opera. In addition to being able to sing along to Broadway tunes, musical theater fans will also get to duet with digital versions of well-known stage actors such as Elaine Page, Michael Crawford, and Donny Osmond. Yes, Donny Osmond, which means this might be the only video game one might have to share with their mom.

Don't worry Mario, you'll always be our one true love.
