Eat your way through On The Road at a culinary tribute in NYC
Celebrate the film adaptation of a book by eating a five course meal? Why not.
This Saturday, you can eat your way through Jack Kerouac's On The Road at the newly opened restaurant, Louro in the West Village. Chef Dave Santos will be preparing a five-course tasting menu inspired by characters and locations of Kerouac's book which inspired the film adaptation starring Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, and Kristen Stewart. Tasty bites that will be served include a catfish stew inspired by New Orleans as well as ricotta beignets, plus powdered sugar with coffee ice cream, inspired by none other than our own New York.
Tickets are still available for the event here. Don't miss the chance to devour this work of art. Pun intended.
